ONSIGHT

Ami Yoda

In this first album, she recorded voice solos and had a session with guitarist Takahiro Toshiro ,over the course of two days. The first day was recorded in a studio, while the second day was recorded outdoors. The outdoor recording took place on the boulder at the Oyayama Observatory in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, with permission obtained from the local authorities. She incorporated the sounds of birds, the swaying of trees in the wind, and aircrafts flying across the sky into the session. The album's title, "ONSIGHT," is derived from a term used in rock climbing, which she has been a fan of for many years.
